True Reformer - Saints of the Catholic Reformation
From Augustine Institute, Dr. Christopher Blum explores six saints who led the Church’s rebirth from the ashes of the confusion caused by the Protestant Reformation:- Saint Thomas More: The Age of the Author
- Saint Ignatius of Loyola: Soldier for Christ
- Saint Philip Neri: The Apostle of Joy
- Saint Charles Borromeo: The Good Shepherd
- Saint Teresa of Àvila: A Study in Perseverance
- Saint Francis de Sales: Pastor of Souls
Basic Class Schedule - 10 planned sessions:
· The first 4 sessions will cover background material on the Protestant Reformation from the “EPIC - Journey Thru Church History” DVD program from Ascension Press. (Handouts provided)
· Six sessions will cover the 6 Saints of the Catholic Reformation - “True Reformers” DVD program from Augustine Institute. (Study Guide Recommended)
