Virginia Carrillo, 96 of Houston, TX, passed away Aug 12, 2020, to meet her Lord Jesus Christ. Daughter of the late Doroteo Rodriguez (Father) and Petra Gauna (Mother).
She was born in Ganado, TX on Aug 30, 1923, however, later moved to Houston, TX where she resided for nearly 80 years. She lived in San Diego, CA the last 8 years with her son, Tony Carrillo.
Wife of the late Guadalupe Carrillo, Sr.
She had a passion for her children and all of her great-grandchildren. She also loved her butterscotch candies! Loved her favorite Mexican music and enjoyed dancing and having a great time!
She now rejoices in our glorious heavens above with her children David Cobio, Gloria Grimaldo, and Richard Carrillo. She is survived by her children Guadalupe “Lupe” Carrillo Jr., Sandy Torres, Sylvia Rangel, Tony Carrillo, and Patricia Carrillo.
Grandmother to Felix Lopez Jr., Nora Rangel, Veronica Shillings, Michelle Carrillo, Jason Carrillo, Steve Torres, Kimberly Aguilar, Diego Juan

Grimaldo “DJ”, Mark Carrillo, Michael Carrillo, Jennifer Zarate, Stephanie Hernandez, and Nicole Cardoso. She also had 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Mother-in-Law to Susan Carrillo, Rose Chirino, and Son-in-Law Diego Grimaldo and Clemente Benitez who she all loved dearly.
Funeral Arrangements will be held at Forest Park Westheimer. Her viewing will be on Thursday, Sept 3rd from 3 pm to 7 pm with a Rosary in her beloved honor from 6 pm to 7 pm. Her mass will be Friday, Sept 4 at St Cyril of Alexandria Church at 1 pm with a burial to follow at Forest Park Cemetery.
