Religious Education Classes for Children
The Religious Education Program is a family-focused faith formation program founded on the principle that parents are primary to the religious formation of their children. The program strives to promote a family-centered effort in the formation of Christian values.
Classes are offered on Sundays from September through May.
Ages 4 yrs. to 5th grade.Registrations are in July or August.

The sacramental preparation can be an exciting time for the whole family. We are happy to be in partnership with you in the preparation.
Requirements- First Communion preparation is only for children who are in 2nd– 5thgrade (older than 7 years old).
- Your child must have completed two years of our Religious Education program (Kinder is not included) and must attend Sunday Mass.
- Parents and child must attend all classes during the preparation process.
- Bring the original birth and baptism certificates

The Catholic Community of St. Cyril wishes to welcome the children and their families who seek a closer relationship with God through the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Eucharist (Communion) and Confirmation.
This process is for the families whose children are over the age of seven years old or have been baptized in other Christian Denominations and wish to become Catholic though the Sacraments.
This process takes two years and the child has to participate in our regular Religious Education classes along with the Sacramental Preparation (accompanied by the parents) according to their grade level. .

As the first sacrament of Christian Initiation, Baptism provides a grace-filled entrance into Christian communion and the beginning of a life centered in the love and service of Christ. This Sacrament takes place every month.
In order to receive this Sacrament, we require that one of the parents/guardians come to the office or Hospitality Desk and pick up a blue English Baptism packet. It includes the dates of registration, preparation classes, baptism celebrations and requirements.
Parents/guardians and godparents are required to attend two classes that are held on: Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
These classes are offered every other month.
Dates are in the packet.
