First Part:
At least nine (9) months prior to the tentative wedding date, couples should come into the parish office or the hospitality desk in the church to register for an initial pre-marital interview.Second Part:
The second part of your marriage preparation is 1 to 3 meetings with the Marriage Formation Director and will be scheduled at your initial interview. During one of these meetings, you will be able to schedule your wedding date.
Third Part:
The Catholic Church requires all engaged couples to participate in a process of instruction and formation. The third part of your primary preparation consists of either the Engaged Encounter Weekend or a One Day Engaged Couples Retreat.
The type of instruction and formation is selected at your Second Session with the Marriage Formation Director.
(Note: Registration for the Engaged Encounter Weekend is scheduled through the Family Life Office of the Archdiocese.
Registration for The One Day Engaged Couples is scheduled through St. Cyril and is usually offered three times a year in March, July & November.)
