Ministry of Hospitality & Ushers
We will be expanding our Hospitality Ministry here at St. Cyril of Alexandria Parish. We’re looking for more Faithful Disciples who are friendly, attentive, respectful, and welcoming. We want to create a welcoming environment as people arrive and exit our Church, moreover, we want to answer basic questions Mass attendees might have.
Our valuable Ushers already help with the offertory collections, alert Eucharistic Ministers of those who might need assistance in receiving Holy Communion, distributing bulletins, and more.

Ministry of The Word - Lectors

Ministers of the Word (Lectors) are needed. During Mass, God uses the lector as an instrument to communicate His word. The lector is used to move and inspire our hearts in the Word of God, and to speak personally to each of us at the Mass.
When you agree to be a lector, you are loaning God your voice: what a profound opportunity!

Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC)

These valued lay ministers assist the Ordinary ministers of the Eucharist (priests and deacons) with the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist to the faithful at Mass, as well as those in the hospital, nursing homes, care facilities, or the homebound.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) are needed, especially at the Saturday Evening Mass (4:00 pm).

A/V Ministry: Church Screens & Livestream

A/V Ministers are key volunteers who operate the Church Screens and make sure those who cannot attend Mass can watch from home. We will train you and team you up with one of our long-time Faithful Disciples. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Nursing Home and Homebound Ministry

Our Pastoral Care Ministry serves the homebound and the residents of five assisted living & memory care facilities in our parish with regular visits and Holy Communion Services.
