Our Senior High Youth Ministry Program
is open to teens in grades 9 to 12
The St. Cyril Youth Ministry Faith Formation Classes are designed to meet the catechetical needs of youth in grades 9 to 12.
Classes are held most Sunday afternoons, Sept. – April,
from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
in the Parish Education Building.
Each grade has its own curriculum, classroom, and team of adult volunteer catechists.

Is Registration Required? Yes. Every teen participating in Faith Formation Classes is required to register at the beginning of each year of participation. Registration forms may be obtained on Sundays prior to the beginning of class or printed directly from the parish website. 1. Download Form for NEW Students. Parent/Guardian Consent Form & Liability Waiver Is there a Cost for Registration? There is an annual registration fee to be paid at the time of Registration. Payment plans are available. Arrangements must be made with the Coordinator of Youth Ministry at the time of Registration. When are Faith Formation classes for Grades 6-12? Faith Formation Classes occur most Sunday afternoons of the year, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. A Summer Vacation will be observed. See Navigation column to the left for dates in which classes will not meet. Do Faith Formation classes fulfill the requirements of Sacrament Preparation classes? Will I receive my Sacraments at the end of the year? Faith Formation Classes fulfill one half of the class requirement to receiving the Sacraments. Sacrament Preparation classes are to be attended separate and in addition to participating in Faith Formation Classes. To be eligible to begin Sacrament Preparation classes, one full year of attendance in Faith Formation Classes must be completed. Are there Youth Ministry related activities offered in addition to weekly Faith Formation classes? YES! Throughout the year, other activities may be offered. Participation in these activities is not mandatory. These activities carry an extra cost outside of the annual registration fee for Faith Formation Classes. The need for financial assistance must be discussed with the Coordinator of Youth Ministry at the time of registration for the event. The opportunity to attend these events will be announced in the bulletin, on the bulletin boards, and online. |
